Student Assistant (studentische Hilfskraft)

Stainier Lab / Department of Developmental Genetics


for approximately 60-80 hours per month.  The position is available immediately and is limited until 31.12.2020.


Your responsibilities

You will help with the generation and validation of zebrafish mutant and transgenic lines.  These tools will be used within a cardiac regeneration and pathological cardiovascular calcification project which includes a great variety of technical approaches including histology, immunostainings and live imaging. 



  • experience in molecular biology is an advantage but not a requirement
  • motivation, reliability and ability to work both independently and in a team
  • very good English skills
  • must be enrolled at a German university
