    • Compensation and dosage balance, coupled with their medical implication excites me.  While working on my Master thesis in dosage compensation in X-chromosome inactivation, I got intrigued by the phenomenon.  Continuing on the same interest, I am currently working on genetic compensation also known as Transcriptional Adaptation(TA).  My goal is to find medically relevant genes exhibiting TA, with an aim to understand more about their mechanism and probable therapeutic approach.
